If you’ve been keeping up with our business, you know it’s been a wild ride for Julian//West (in a good way). With the new year upon us, we’ve been quarterly planning and building out a content calendar that we hope will be better than ever.

As we plan ahead, we want to make more of the posts you enjoy and less of the ones you don’t. Good or bad, data always helps us make better decisions as our business grows.

But enough about us. We thought it would be fun to recap the posts that you, our audience, liked the most. So, without further ado, here they are.

10. Bedroom office ideas

In this post, I share a bit about my home office, which doubles as a bedroom. I talk about the things I did to make it feel homier for guests while still being functional for me, since I work from home exclusively.

9. 2022 review

I was a little nervous to write a recap about 2022, especially since we didn’t officially announce our business until the fall. But if you don’t celebrate wins along the way, they’re easy to forget. As I wrote this post, I realized we had a really fun year and a lot to be excited about.

8. Increasing creativity in business

This how-to lists a few actionable ways you can add creativity to your business, job, or even hobby. I sometimes oscillate between feeling inspired and feeling creatively blocked. It can be helpful to have a checklist for those times when creativity is elusive.

7. How to start working from home

Despite what the monopoly men of the world say, huge numbers of people still want to work from home. Remote work offers tons of benefits, and this post explains the pros as well as the cons. Plus, it outlines opportunities you can take, increasing your chances of landing a remote gig.

6. How to achieve a good brand strategy

In this post, we explain branding, why it’s important, and how you can create a strategy for your business. We even give tips for building your own personal brand.

5. Lessons from Miami Ad School

In Hollye’s blog debut, she shares her personal journey about moving cross-country to study art direction. She pinpoints hurdles, as well as some of the biggest and most valuable lessons she learned. If you haven’t gotten a chance to read it, check it out.

4. My favorite home office items

Home office: a desk, laptop, and yarn weaving

My office is my happy place (most of the time), so I wanted to fill it with functional things that improve my work process and my mood. In this post, I share my favorite office items and the places you can get them, too.

3. How to deal with difficult coworkers and clients

Judging from the popularity of this post, I can see we’ve all had a difficult colleague or two (ha!). This blog post talks about ways you can level with challenging personalities, as well as how to know when someone is creating a hostile environment.

2. The origin story of our agency

In our very first blog post, we explain our company, our history, and why we decided to create an agency and name it Julian//West.

1. Our favorite stationery stores

This was by far our most popular post (not that I’m surprised). In it, we feature dozens of incredible artists who are making beautiful, one-of-a-kind cards. Be sure to check out their shops and give them a follow.
